The theme this year is “Look Beyond” and the aim is to look beyond traditional stereotypes surrounding apprenticeships and also to celebrate the diversity of opportunity that apprenticeships bring to our country.
We are very proud of our employer partners and the commitment and investment on display locally to the apprenticeship scheme, and in raising skills and aspirations. As I will always re-iterate we couldn’t do it without you.
As an employer offering apprenticeship placements you have a crucial role in showing others the value you place on the programme and in encouraging others to look beyond traditional recruitment practices. One of the most common misconceptions about apprenticeships is that they are employed ‘just to make the tea.’ We would love your support during the week to help parents, young people, teachers and other employers to look beyond by showcasing all the fantastic and inspiring work you are doing with your apprentices, and the positive impact they make to your organisation.
You can find marketing materials and information of local events on the links below. Even if you just engage with some of the social media activities or use the marketing I encourage you to promote yourselves as excellent apprenticeship placement providers and employers who are actively committed to creating better opportunities in the workplace.
